What Do We Know…

That is today’s question…well, more precisely, the question is “What do we know about Kresley Cole‘s upcoming Immortals After Dark novel, Sweet Ruin?”

I know what I know…which is ZIP…

ZERO…

ZILCH!

No, really, I clearly have not been keeping up with the forums so when I saw the cover and title earlier today, I was baffled.

So I should probably rephrase the question and instead of asking “what do we know,” I should probably be asking “what do you know?”

Because what you know is what I want to know…

Get it…

Got it…

Great!

So please, please, please share!

Cover Reveal: COLD-HEARTED RAKE by Lisa Kleypas

We have a quick cover reveal for Lisa Kleypas‘ upcoming historical novel – SQUEEEEEE! – Cold-Hearted Rake:

A twist of fate . . .

Devon Ravenel, London’s most wickedly charming rake, has just inherited an earldom. But his powerful new rank in society comes with unwanted responsibilities . . . and more than a few surprises. His estate is saddled with debt, and the late earl’s three innocent sisters are still occupying the house . . . along with Kathleen, Lady Trenear, a beautiful young widow whose sharp wit and determination are a match for Devon’s own.

A clash of wills . . .

Kathleen knows better than to trust a ruthless scoundrel like Devon. But the fiery attraction between them is impossible to deny—and from the first moment Devon holds her in his arms, he vows to do whatever it takes to possess her. As Kathleen finds herself yielding to his skillfully erotic seduction, only one question remains:

Can she keep from surrendering her heart to the most dangerous man she’s ever known?

Anyone else looking forward to this one?

Blurb Reveal: TRUST NO ONE by Jayne Ann Krentz

How excited was I when I found this blurb for Trust No One by Jayne Ann Krentz? Very! I was a huge fan of River Road, so I can’t wait for more of her wonderful creativity in her upcoming romantic suspense/contemporary romance:

It’s no coincidence when Grace Elland finds a vodka bottle next to the lifeless body of her boss, motivational speaker Sprague Witherspoon. The bottle is a terrifying—and deliberate—reminder of the horrors of her past.

Grace retreats to her hometown to regroup and tries to put everything she’s learned about positive thinking into practice—a process that is seriously challenged on the world’s worst blind date.

Awkward doesn’t begin to describe her evening with venture-capitalist Julius Arkwright. She has nothing in common with a man who lives to make money, but the intense ex-Marine does have some skills that Grace can use—and he’s the perfect man to help her when it becomes clear she is being stalked.

As Witherspoon’s financial empire continues to crumble around them, taking a deadly toll, Julius will help Grace step into her past to uncover a devious plan to destroy not only Grace, but everyone around her…

Can’t wait! I am also hoping that Ms. Krentz returns to the Dark Legacy series with Emma‘s story…I need to know if she gets a happily ever after like her brothers…but it seems unlikely because she seems to be shifting away from the paranormal elements in both her historicals and contemporaries lately.

Stealthy Sneak Peeks!

Excerpts, teasers and (maybe) spoilers galore!

Here’s the latest in the world of paranormal romance/urban fantasy:

  • Nalini Singh released excerpt two of Shield of Winter. (Excerpt one can now be found on her website.) Ms. Singh is also hard at work on the Kaleb and Sahara short story, and it will presumably be released with her next newsletter on June 3rd.
  • Kresley Cole’s Dead of Winter cover has been revealed!
  • Jennifer Ashley’s next Shifters Unbound story is titled, Alpha’s Mate. (Ms. Ashley is also writing another Shareem novel, called Keiran, and has posted a short teaser on her website, and she’s promised more Stormwalker novels!)
  • The Beautiful Ashes, an upcoming New Adult novel by Jeaniene Frost also has a new excerpt. (Ms. Frost also previously revealed that the title for the final Night Prince novel is Bound by Flames.)
  • The second Sentinels book by Alexandra Ivy is titled Blood Assassin.

That’s all I’ve got for now.

If you’ve got any more release dates or excerpts/teasers to share, please do!
